After my horrible experience reading Persuasion, I thought: “Alexa, give Austen another chance”… So I picked up Pride and Prejudice. I’ve definitely cried through the movie enough times to love the plot and the movie prepared the pace for the book.
So Jane Austen…
I commend you on making Mr. Darcy such the gentlemen no matter how he is presented, on screen or on paper.
