Youtube Dedication

Hoooorayyy! I found the little video of The Lorax that my kids watched when they were tiny critters. Loved it. Ain’t technology grand? Yes, it’s a bit outdated, doesn’t have Disney’s glitz and shine… but it does have Dr Seuss’ words, and the brilliant lesson/story that he so sweetly told back then.

After my horrible experience reading Persuasion, I thought: “Alexa, give Austen another chance”… So I picked up Pride and Prejudice. I’ve definitely cried through the movie enough times to love the plot and the movie prepared the pace for the book.

The New York Public Library
Went to visit the Stephen A. Schwarzman building for the first time today. Any standards I had before seeing it first hand were established by my multiple viewings of “The Day After Tomorrow” — so my expectations were really high. Despite the tourists all trying to squeeze in the one revolving door sans etiquette. Some memorables are:
